If everyone lived like me, we would need 4 planets!

We talked a bit on Sunday about the disparity between the average U.S. worker, and CEOs. While most of us are not CEOs, are we living within our means, or are we using resources which aren't really ours?
Obviously as an American, I use more than my fair share of Earth's resources, but have you ever wondered how much more? Take this quiz to find out how many earths we would need if everyone lived like you.

i predict that in the next 10 years, we'll start to see the decline of the capitalistic ideology. It's precisely because of the very thing you're alluding to in terms of CEO pay. What's worse is the pervasiveness of greed and cover ups. Take my company for example...in a week, we went from the second largest sub-prime lender to bankruptcy! A handful of people destroyed the livelihood of 10,000. Enron and Arthur Andersen, even worse. Why in the next 10 years you say...well, because the catalyst is the deterioration to our environment. As irresponsible capitalism continue to thrive, we're bound to suffer as a planet. The suffering will reach a tipping point where the people will revolt (think of all the past ideologies...monarchies, socialism, etc). I believe that either capitalism evolve to becoming more humane/responsible or a different worldview will come to dominate...maybe "Greenism" :-)
